My First Photoshoot in +42°C Heat – in the United Arab Emirates

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is truly impressive — its majestic architecture and interior details make it one of the most photogenic mosques in the world ❤️

In the mosque, women are required to wear long robes or dresses and a head covering — this definitely added a special atmosphere to the photoshoot. However, in +42°C heat, it was a real challenge 😊

Shooting in such a location is a unique experience — especially when trying to avoid people in the background, as the mosque is always filled with tourists. Security guards strictly manage the flow of visitors, and you’re only allowed to stay in each spot for a short while.

Some shots had to be “managed” — by kindly asking people to step aside for a few seconds.

There was both stress and laughter, but for the most part, people were very understanding when we smiled and asked politely 😊

Despite the heat and restrictions — it was an unforgettable experience.
And yes — in a few shots, the people magically disappeared… thanks to post-processing 😊
